Our data handling is controlled and audited.. That is the reason the records are fresh — and the reason we are deliberate about who we release them to and what they may be used for.
Data Sources
State vital records and other primary-source death records. Actual date of death. This tier is what a confirmed disposition is built on.
Multiple independent sources agreeing — funeral notices, institutional reports, public death files.
Single-source signals such as an obituary. Useful as an early warning, never sufficient on its own for an irreversible action.
Permissible Use
The business purpose and the decision the data supports
Which systems will hold results, and who has access
Retention period and destruction process
Whether results are shared with any third party
Encryption in transit and at rest
Least-privilege access with per-user credentials
Full audit log of every upload, match run and export
Documented data-handling and breach-notification process
Your obligations, our output
We process the population you send to produce your results. We do not resell your file, we do not merge it into a marketing product, and we destroy it on request or at the end of the retention period you set in the agreement. Free file analyses are destroyed once the findings review is complete.
This page describes our data handling and onboarding practice. It is not legal advice, and it does not substitute for your own counsel's assessment of your obligations under applicable federal and state law.
We would rather answer a security questionnaire up front than surprise anyone later. Send it over and we will complete it.

Multi-source death data, matched, scored and audit-ready.
Looking for inherited real estate leads? Our sister service, InheritedData, matches the same death data to property records for real estate professionals.
